Additional Info About MM: Christine Durant
Bio: Christine is a creative director in Columbus, Ohio. She has a very successful corporate career working with dozens of major retail brands. Her design work is sold by retailers worldwide and her marketing campaigns are often spotted in the latest fashion magazines.

I met Christine back in 2003 when I started my first job. She took me to a concert and told me about her daughter struggling with depression. She and her husband had just gotten divorced. They were having affairs and her 13 year old daughter, Madison, found out. I could relate. I was also 13 when my parents had affairs and divorced.

When Madison turned 16 she had a boyfriend. Christine and I took them to dinner and a show and everything seemed great. One week later Madison took her own life. Her boyfriend just broke up with her in a video he posted on YouTube. Everyone in her school found out about it. She was humiliated and heart broken.

Christine struggled for the next few years to get by. I wasn't very good at being a shoulder to cry on but it was my chance to be a better friend to her than I was to Stephanie. We started making jewelry and t-shirts to pass the time. We'd take them to concerts and try to give them to the band members.

One night in Cleveland we were hanging out with a band for Pat Monahan. The bass player started hitting on me and Christine was having fun talking to everyone. It was the first time I saw her happy. Madison had only been gone for 4 months. The guy in the band wanted me to go back to the tour bus, but I said no. Christine and I went back to our hotel room.

My husband Scott found out. After that all trust in me had been eroded. I had never cheated on him but maybe there was more in my past that concerned him.
